District Plans

District plans

Every student who wants a stage should get one.

A Dramallama plan for each school in your district that’s ready for it. Every play, unlimited performances and a theater curriculum, on one purchase order.

Theater is where a lot of kids find their people.

The kid who runs the light board. The freshman who finally talks at lunch because she has a cast to sit with. Every school has them. Not every school has a theater budget that survives a bad year, or a teacher who has time to fight a licensing company.

A district plan fixes the second part. Each participating school gets the full catalog and the rights to perform it, so the teacher spends September casting instead of filling out forms.

What every participating school gets

  • Every one-act and full-length play we publish, with new titles added every month
  • Unlimited performances, with no per-performance royalties
  • Unlimited script printing
  • Livestream, archival and competition rights
  • Permission to change lines, roles and genders without asking us
  • Dramallama U theater curriculum (Llama Plan schools)
  • Director’s guides, logo packs and the 68-file Theater Department Fundraising Kit

Every play and every lesson is written by a real, credited author. Read our Human-Authored Promise.

One price per school. The more schools, the lower it goes.

Schools joining Llama Planevery play + Dramallama U One-Act Flexevery one-act play Dramallama Ucurriculum only
1 $799 $299 $199
2 to 4 (10% off) $719 $269 $179
5 to 9 (15% off) $679 $254 $169
10 to 19 (20% off) $639 $239 $159
20 or more (25% off) $599 $224 $149

Price per school, per year. The discount counts every school on the order, whichever plan each one picks.

Here’s how it adds up. Seven schools join: five take the Llama Plan and two take One-Act Flex. Seven schools puts you in the 15% band. The district pays $3,903 for the year.

Plan ahead and save more. Prepay two years and take another 10% off, or three years and take about 17% off. Combined with the volume discount, savings top out at 30% off list. Prefer to pay once a year? We’ll lock your per-school price for two or three years instead.

Only schools that want the plan join. A school with no theater program doesn’t need to be on the invoice. Add a school later in the year and it’s prorated by month.

Musicals are licensed separately, per title: $1,199 for Llama Plan schools and $1,349 for other plan schools ($1,499 list).

Already have a school on Dramallama?

Good news for them. Their unused months become a credit on the district invoice, so nobody pays twice. They keep their account, their scripts and their history. And if they’d rather stay on their own plan, that’s fine too.

For your business office

Questions districts ask

What counts as a school?

One school with its own NCES school ID. A combined 6–12 school counts once. Every teacher and every theater class or club at that school is covered.

Can middle schools join?

Yes. Many choose One-Act Flex: every one-act, at $299 a year before the volume discount.

What happens when a teacher leaves?

Your district coordinator names the next teacher and we move the account over. The program keeps its scripts and its plan.

Does it renew automatically?

No. We’ll talk with you in the spring, while you’re building next year’s budget.

Can we sign for more than one year?

Yes, two ways. Prepay two years (10% off) or three years (about 17% off) on one PO, stacked with your volume discount up to 30% off list. Or lock your per-school price for two or three years and we’ll invoice once a year.

Do students need accounts?

No. Accounts are for teachers and other adults. If your district uses a student data privacy agreement, ask us for one. Our privacy policy has the details.

“Unlimited performances and script printing? Yes, please! We’ve saved so much money, and I don’t have to stress over changing a line or gender that doesn’t work for my program or community.”
