The Daughters of Baker Street
Sherlock Holmes has disappeared, a young woman has been murdered on the doorstep of 22 Baker Street, and Scotland Yard is already in over its head. Enter Victorine Holmes—the brilliant, determined daughter of the world’s most famous detective. With Sherlock nowhere to be found, Victorine sets out to solve the murder herself, reluctantly joined by Olive Wilson, the warm-hearted, endlessly curious wife of a Scotland Yard officer. Their investigation leads them through the streets of London, from a suspicious pub to the leech-filled waters of Romney Marsh, as they uncover a trail of secrets surrounding the mysterious victim.
But this is Baker Street, where nothing is quite what it seems. With criminal mastermind Rowena Moriarty and her hilariously inept henchmen Rock, Paper, and Scissors lurking around every corner, Victorine and Olive must separate truth from deception before time runs out. Funny, fast-paced, and packed with twists, The Daughters of Baker Street puts a fresh spin on the world of Sherlock Holmes while celebrating friendship, ingenuity, and two women determined to prove that you don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to be a great detective.
