Dirt Haehnel is an IATSE Local 481 Dolly Grip. Alongside companies like Netflix, HBO and A24, Dirt has worked on a number of award-winning productions, like 2023’s Theater Camp—multiple nominee and award winner at the Sundance Film Festival—and Emmy award winning series, The Gilded Age. His career has taken him across the globe, from his hometown in rural Vermont to Chennai India—where he co-produced The Captain’s Log (Best Documentary, Film North Film Festival)—to New York City and, most recently, to the coast of Maine, where he lives with his girlfriend Emma and cat Frankenstein. In between shoots, Dirt enjoys spending time in his woodshop in Portland, Dirt Wood Brass, running a nonprofit horror film festival, Bite Night Presents, and workshopping new scripts and ideas for the screen and stage with his dad, Alan.
