The Boy With Wings is a funny, high-flying musical adventure about Tunde, a nervous twelve-year-old who has spent his life convinced that danger is lurking around every corner. But when Tunde suddenly sprouts a pair of wings, he discovers that he isn’t quite the ordinary kid he thought he was. He is actually the long-hidden son of Aaven, leader of the bird-like Avians, and the legendary “One Foreseen” — a child prophesied to end an ancient war between the people of Avian and their feline enemies from the planet Furlean. With his best friends Dev and Kylie by his side, Tunde is swept into an intergalactic adventure involving a mysterious giant cat named Juba, a larger-than-life father he’s never known, and a destiny much bigger than anything he could have imagined.

Packed with music, comedy, puppetry, audience interaction and plenty of out-of-this-world surprises, The Boy With Wings is ultimately a joyful story about finding the courage to become who you really are. As Tunde learns that the people he has been taught to fear may not be so different after all, he must decide whether destiny is something that happens to you or something you choose for yourself.
