Program summary

The Dramallama Stage Access Grant provides a one year unlimited access play license and curriculum support package to organizations serving communities with limited access to theatre resources. Awards cover the license at no cost to the organization for the first year and prioritize public benefit productions and learning outcomes.

Eligibility & Instructions

  • Applicants must be organizations (schools, districts, PTAs, community theatres, libraries, after school programs, correctional/rehabilitation programs, youth serving nonprofits). We do not grant to individuals.
  • Projects must demonstrate public benefit and comply with all licensing terms and local regulations.
  • Awards may not be sold, resold, or auctioned. No transfer without written approval.
  • Programs involving minors must follow FERPA and applicable privacy laws; youth must be supervised by appointed adults for any online components.
  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Notification will be sent via email.
  • Typical review window: up to 1-2 weeks from submission.

    • Public benefit: Activities will be open or beneficial to the public/community served and aligned with charitable purposes.
    • Adult supervision: Participants under 18 will be supervised by appointed adults for any online components; student data will be handled in accordance with FERPA and privacy laws.
    • Accurate information: All information provided is true and complete to the best of your knowledge.
    • Use window: If awarded, you will begin activities within 12 months of award unless an extension is approved.
    • Credit & reporting: You agree to provide basic usage data, photos/media with consent where applicable, and credit Dramallama Stage Access Grant in programs/press.
